Large Gold Pennanular with Red Stones
This great brooch is a stunning piece which is patterned
after the Hunterston Brooch, which is believed to have been
created in the late 7th or early 8th centruy. The engraving is cast on all
sides of the piece, leaving no naked areas. The pin is loose. The entire
piece is adorned with cast resin "stones", which can be of any color desired
by the customer. This piece has a truly commanding appearance especially
when worn with a cloak or Great Kilt. This brooch is 4 7/16 inches across,
the pin being 5 1/8 inches long. This piece is a must-have for any serious
collector of historical Norse-Celtic jewelry.
